Cult Gaia has quickly become one of my favorite designers. First, their chic bags caught my attention, then their shoes and earrings, and now this gorgeous Skylar Knit Dress.
It’s the perfect dress to transition from winter to spring, especially if you live in a cold place like Utah where even the warmer spring days are still cold.
I have been feeling the color pink for a while now and am obsessed with any shade of pink. I was never a pink type of girl before and coincidentally I’ve turned into one since we added another boy to the family.
I joke that it’s because as the only girl in our house, I lack femininity with all of this testosterone around me so I’m more girly than I was before. Pink is my way of feeling more feminine when I’m naturally a tomboy.
Listen, I cannot say enough about this dress. Not only is this a transitional dress from winter to spring, it’s also a spring to summer dress since the turtleneck shawl comes off. And you know what that means, I will be wearing this little number again as a cutout dress with a pair of cute sandals come summer dress season.
One thing about me is that I don’t mind paying a high price tag if I can wear the item over and over again. So even though this dress may be more than the average dress in our closets, it’s also a 2-in-1 so you can wear it in two different seasons and create two different looks, making it worth it to me.
I paired them with a pair of Paris Texas ivory boots to make it pop. And of course, I had to bring out my favorite handbag, the Bottega Veneta Cassette Chain bag that complemented these Dolce & Gabbana gold earrings.
Because the weather is still feeling more like winter, I layered it with a Topshop Boucle coat to compliment the ivory boots.
If I had to rate this dress I would say it’s a 10 out of 10 since it fits true to size, compliments my shape, is a beautiful design, and feels so good once you put it on.
If you can splurge anytime soon, I hope that you’re able to add this beauty to your wardrobe too!
