I’m not sure where my love for the color orange came from all of a sudden. Maybe it’s the lack of sunshine throughout this whole winter that has me feeling this color so much lately, but it’s going to be a whole moment for me. Bring on all of the orange please!
Are y’all tired of seeing this Jean Paul Gaultier top all over Instagram? I’ve had it tucked away in my closet for months now because I’m an LA girl at my core and I do not, I repeat, I do not go outside when the weather is anything below 60 degrees which has been all winter so I’ve been hibernating. We finally had a warm day so I decided to take the opportunity to shoot this little ensemble I’ve been dying to wear before the winter season wraps up.
As a repeated fashion offender I’m here to tell you that you will see this top on me again, as well as this gorgeous skirt with the sexy little slit on the side, and this matrix coat. Not in this same exact outfit of course, but it has inspired me to mix and match with other pieces because of how good it made me feel.
If you’re looking for a comfy skirt to wear on cooler days, this is it right here. Because you can wear it high-waist, it accentuates your curves more and I love when pieces highlight my best parts while hiding my not-so-great areas such as my love handles… My husband loves them, me not so much.
The colors in this mesh top look great against a monochrome color. I feel like you can wear this shirt without any layers, or wear it under a tube top – dress or jumpsuit. Can we also get into these orange shades though?! Obsessed!
The couple of times that I have been out this winter, this leather coat has been my go-to for layering. Whether it’s over a turtleneck dress or a hoodie, I love that this faux leather coat can be dressed up or down. But no matter which way you wear it, it’s on trend.
I bought my first Jacquemus bag a while ago in the color white after seeing it on so many of my favorite fashion influencers. I can see why you get easily sucked in to get them in every color. It’s such a classic style. The shape, the leather, the top handle design, it’s easily one of my top favorite handbags of all time. So of course when I got the top I knew I need an orange Jacquemus bag to go with it. My favorite style and size is the Jacquemus Le Chiquito Moyen. It’s big enough to fit your phone, along with a lipstick, a mirror, keys, and cards.
It’s safe to say that my closet will be seeing a lot more orange this year. Move over pink… There’s a new color in town!
Thanks for catching up with me and my style!
