As of lately I didn’t know I would be into a natural skincare line like I have been with this Eva Naturals. One of my favorite highlights about this brand is that they only make small batches at a time to ensure every product sold is fresh, which probably explains why I’ve noticed a big difference on how my face feels and looks.
It’s only been 2 weeks since I’ve added their products to my skincare routine and it’s crazy that I have noticed a change within the first week— actually, within the first day. The first time I used their Vitamin C Serum, I noticed my skin felt tighter and as my skin absorbed the serum, it left a little dewy glow on my face. The serum comes in a dropper bottle and I only use 3 drops on my forehead and 3 drops on each cheek. The consistency goes a long way so not much is needed, especially if you use a jade roller like I do for all of my serums.
Your skin needs Vitamin C to fight off free radicals that you walk in every day and it helps to fade away dark spots that you get from being in the sun too much.
The serum says it promotes circulation while naturally brightening up your skin. Fast forward to two weeks later, I’ve noticed that my dark spots have lightened up significantly and my skin looks like it’s glowing. I’ve tried two other Vitamin C serums, and this one by far beats them.
I was a little weirded out by their skin toner because instead of using a cotton ball to apply it on your face, you spray it on instead. After getting used to it, I love it! I do four sprays to cover my face and let it air dry before applying any serums or moisturizers as the toner works as a “primer” for better skin absorption of products. As soon as the first spray hits your face, you smell hints of rose. If you’re a fan of rose water like me, you’ll totally love the smell of this.
I love that you have to shake it before each use because the ingredients separate, which to me, is a sign of what happens with fresh ingredients.
I noticed it stung just a little bit the first time, but I don’t feel it anymore. I’m not sure if that was because it has tea tree oil which helps fight breakouts or if it was the witch hazel and lemon working together that my skin had to get used to but my face feels way more fresh than it did before. Since it also has Vitamin C, I’m getting a double dose of it by using this prior to the serum.
Their retinol caught my eye because it claims to have the ability to penetrate through 4 layers of skin instead of just on the outer layer. This serum also contains Jojoba and Vitamin E to help your skin boost collagen production and diminish the look of fine lines. As a bonus they’ve added Hyaluronic Acid and Green Tea to help you on days where you may wake up with puffiness.
I don’t really have a lot of wrinkles or lines because I’ve used retinol and anti-aging products for such a long time to avoid them so the only place I’ve noticed my lines less visible is on my forehead. I’m used to waking up and seeing little WiFi lines. Since using Eva Naturals, I’ve noticed those lines are smaller.
A big part of why I think my face is absorbing these products and having such great results is because I started microneedling at home.
What is Microneedling?
It’s a collagen induction treatment that is done by puncturing the skin with hundreds of tiny sterile needles. Usually done at a spa, it’s a therapy session used to treat lines, wrinkles, scars caused by acne, minimize the size of pores, helps with dark spots and pigment issues.
It sounds scary, trust me, I know. I remember doing it the first time and being so scared but the way your skin feels afterward gets you addicted. I love the feel of my face when I get this done, however, because I don’t have a lot of time with my schedule to make regular spa appointments, I have been doing them once a week at home with their Microneedle Derma Skin Roller.
I don’t have another roller to compare it to, as this was my first time trying a roller out. But I have to say, everyone needs to add one of these to their skincare products. You don’t have to push down very hard, it just takes a few light rolls on your face, switching up directions to feel like you just got it done at the spa.
As soon as I’m done, I apply my serums and my face just feels a little different, a really good different, like fresh and healthy.
I’m already on their site adding new products to my cart because I can tell they not only work, but they are so affordable. Who doesn’t love a great product for the low-low right?
